Sparrow is a low-tox, sustainable and eco-conscious hair care range. Ingredients used within the bespoke products are all certified organic, 100% vegan and gluten free. Some of the essential ingredients used include Tasmanian blue gum extract, hydrolysed quinoa, dragonfruit extract and avocado oil.

 

In addition to this, the products offered are cruelty free, made from recycled plastics and packed in sustainable, reusable bottles.

When Tenille, the founder of Sparrow, suffered a serious case of chemical poisoning during two of her pregnancies, she knew something in the industry had to change. The poisoning was a result of her work as a colour educator and the exposure to numerous products containing potent levels of chemicals. These ingredients are still commonplace in many professional and consumer product lines today and it is Sparrow's aim to educate people on these potentially harmful ingredients and bring more transparency to the industry. After educating herself about the causes and effects of such ingredients, she made it her mission to stop both her staff and clients from being exposed to these unsafe chemicals.
